Financing Your Project
Financing is available for GIL Renovation Services projects through Houzz. Estimates and consultations are free either way.
Financing is available through Houzz
Financing for GIL Renovation Services projects is available through Houzz. Houzz is the home renovation platform we hold a professional profile on, and the financing itself is arranged and underwritten by their financing partner — not by us.
That distinction matters, so we will be plain about it. We are a building contractor, not a lender. We can tell you that the option exists and point you at the application, but the decision, the amount you are offered, and the terms attached to it are set by the lender. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit, and nobody here can tell you in advance what you will be approved for.
What we can tell you is the number you would be financing: a comprehensive written proposal, in your hands within 48 hours of a free on-site consultation.

What financing does not change
The project is the project. Whether you pay us directly or through a lender, the scope, the price in your written proposal, and the one-year workmanship warranty are identical. We do not price a financed job differently, and we do not build one differently.
Estimates and consultations are free, so working out what your project actually costs never depends on committing to anything. Come to the consultation, take the written proposal away, and decide how you want to pay afterwards.
The two ways people pay us
Paying us directly — 50% and 50%
Our standard payment structure is a 50% deposit when you accept the proposal and the project goes on the schedule, with the remaining 50% due on completion.
There are no progress payments in between and no draws that appear halfway through the job. Two payments, both known before we start.
Financing through Houzz
If you would rather spread the cost, you apply to Houzz’s financing partner directly. Approval, the amount, and the repayment terms are decided by the lender, and they will set those out for you in full before you agree to anything.
We are happy to answer questions about the project. Questions about rates and terms belong with the lender, who is the only party who can answer them accurately.
How to ask about financing
Four steps, and the first three cost you nothing. Ask early — it is easier to plan around than to retrofit.
- 1
Tell us at the first conversation
Mention financing when you get in touch or when a team member calls you back. It changes nothing about how we scope or price the work, but it means we can point you at the application early rather than after you have made a decision.
- 2
We come out and give you a real number
The free on-site consultation happens either way. You get measurements, a full scope, and a comprehensive written proposal within 48 hours — which is the figure you actually need before applying for anything.
- 3
You apply through Houzz
The application is made to Houzz and their financing partner, not to us. They ask for whatever information they need, and the decision, the amount, and the terms are entirely theirs. We are not part of that conversation and we do not see or influence the outcome.
- 4
Accepted proposal goes on the schedule
However you choose to pay, the process from there is identical: you accept the written proposal, the project goes on the schedule with a real date, and your one-year workmanship warranty starts at completion.
Ask us and we will point you the right way
The quickest route is to say so on the contact form or on the phone. Someone here answers — our business partner runs the job sites so Cesar Perdomo can manage customers exclusively, which is why you are not left waiting for a callback that never comes.
Call (904) 790-1832 during office hours — Monday–Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm — or send the contact form at any time.

One-year warranty
Every project carries a one-year workmanship warranty across the whole job — not just selected trades.
Financing and payment questions
What we can answer, answered plainly. Anything about rates or terms is the lender’s to answer, and we will not guess on their behalf.
Yes — financing is available for GIL Renovation Services projects through Houzz. Houzz is the home renovation platform we keep a professional profile on, and the financing is arranged and underwritten by their financing partner rather than by us. That means the application, the approval decision, and the terms all sit with the lender. We can point you at the application; we cannot approve anything ourselves.
Tell us you are interested and we will point you at the Houzz application. It is worth having your written proposal in hand first, because that gives you the real project figure rather than an estimate you would have to revise later. The consultation and the proposal are free, so there is no cost to getting to that point before you decide anything.
A 50% deposit is due when you accept the proposal and the project goes on the schedule, and the remaining 50% is due on completion. There are no progress payments in between and no surprise draws part-way through the job. That structure is the same for every project regardless of size.
No. The scope, the price in your written proposal, and the one-year workmanship warranty are the same either way. Financing changes how and when you pay the lender, not what the work costs or how we build it. Any interest or fees are a matter between you and the lender and are separate from our proposal.
No. Estimates and consultations are free, including the on-site visit where we take measurements and work through the full scope with you. You get a comprehensive written proposal within 48 hours of that visit at no cost and with no obligation. Nothing is owed until you accept a proposal and the project is scheduled.
Get the number first
Before financing is worth thinking about, you need a real figure. Book a free consultation and we will measure, scope the work, and put a comprehensive written proposal in your hands within 48 hours.
