Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website. The work itself is governed by the written proposal and contract you sign.
Last updated: August 2026
Welcome to gilrenovationservices.com. This website is operated by D'GIL Renovation House LLC, trading as GIL Renovation Services — a State-Certified Building Contractor CBC1269967 based in Orange Park, FL and working across Jacksonville and Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties.
By browsing this site or sending us an enquiry through it, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site — call us instead and we will happily talk to you.
What these terms cover
These terms cover this website and nothing else. They set out what you may do with the pages, images, and text published here, what our published information does and does not commit us to, and where you stand if something on the site turns out to be wrong.
They are not a construction contract, and they do not describe the terms on which we build anything. If you hire us, your project is governed entirely by the separate written proposal and contract you sign — that document contains the scope, the price, the payment schedule, the warranty, and every other term that applies to the work. Where anything on this website appears to conflict with the agreement you have signed, your signed agreement controls.
This website is not a contract
Everything published here is general information about the kind of work we do. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and browsing it, submitting the form, or speaking to us on the phone does not create a contract between us or oblige either of us to proceed.
A binding agreement exists only once we have given you a written proposal and you have accepted it in writing. Until that moment, either side is free to walk away with no cost and no obligation.
Estimates, consultations, and proposals
Estimates and consultations are free, and they are not binding on either of us. We will come out, measure, and talk through what you want, and you owe us nothing for that visit whether or not you go ahead.
After the on-site consultation we put a comprehensive written proposal in your hands within 48 hours. That proposal is the document that matters: it sets out the scope, the price, and what is and is not included. Anything discussed in conversation, quoted approximately over the phone, or read on this website is superseded by it.
A proposal is open for acceptance for the period stated on it. Prices in a proposal are based on the scope, conditions, and material selections known at the time it was written; if the scope changes, or conditions are discovered that could not reasonably have been seen at the consultation, the figure may change — and it changes only in writing, with your agreement, before the affected work is carried out.
Pricing ranges are not quotes
Any price range published on this website is a typical range, not a quote. We publish ranges because we would rather you knew roughly what a project costs before you spend an afternoon on a consultation. They are honest averages drawn from work we have actually completed — they are not a promise about your project.
What a specific job costs depends on its size, the condition of the existing structure, the materials you select, what the permit set requires, and what we find once work begins. A project can reasonably land above or below a published range. The only figure you may rely on is the one in your written proposal, and no published range obliges us to price your project within it.
Licence and insurance disclosure
D'GIL Renovation House LLC holds Florida licence CBC1269967 as a Certified Building Contractor. Licence status can be verified with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
We are licensed and insured, carrying $1,000,000 general liability cover with a $2,000,000 aggregate. A certificate of insurance is available on request. We pull and manage the permits for our projects, and our licensed plumbing and electrical subcontractors pull their trade permits under our master permit.
We do not make any representation about coverage we do not carry, and you should not infer any. If a particular form of coverage matters to you for your project, ask us directly before you sign anything and we will tell you plainly what we hold.
Service area and project selection
We work in Jacksonville, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Fleming Island, Mandarin, Ponte Vedra, St. Johns, and Fernandina Beach, across Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. Describing an area as served does not guarantee availability there at any given time, and the fact that a service is described on this website does not oblige us to accept any particular project.
We take on roughly 30 to 40 projects a year, which means we occasionally have to decline work that is a poor fit for our schedule or our licence class. Where we cannot help, we will tell you so early rather than late.
Using our forms and contacting us
When you send us an enquiry, please give us accurate details — particularly the project address, which is what we use to scope the work and identify the permitting authority. We rely on what you tell us, and a proposal built on inaccurate information will need to be revised.
By submitting the form or calling us, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone, text message, or email using the details you provided. You can ask us to stop at any time, by any of the same channels. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages sent by your carrier.
What we do with the information you send is set out in full in our privacy and cookie policy.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, photography, graphics, logo, and design of this website are owned by D'GIL Renovation House LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The GIL Renovation Services name and logo are our marks.
You are welcome to view these pages, print them, and share links to them. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or reuse our content on another website or in marketing material without our written permission, and you may not present our work, photography, or reviews as your own. If you would like to reference something from this site, ask us — the answer is usually yes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this website to:
- Submit false, misleading, or automated enquiries, or anyone else’s details.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its database, its administrative endpoints, or any account.
- Interfere with the site’s operation — including probing, load-testing, or attempting to overwhelm it.
- Harvest content or contact details by automated means, or use the site’s content to train a commercial product without our permission.
- Post or transmit anything unlawful, threatening, or defamatory through our forms.
We rate-limit submissions and filter automated traffic. We may restrict access to anyone who uses the site in the ways described above.
Third-party links, partners, and financing
This site links to other organisations — our social media profiles, our materials partner, a map provider, and a third-party financing application. Those are separate businesses, operating under their own terms and their own privacy policies. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or decisions.
Financing in particular is offered by a third-party underwriter, not by us. Approval, interest rates, terms, and eligibility are entirely that lender’s decision, and nothing on this website is an offer of credit, a pre-approval, or a promise that financing will be available to you.
Reviews, photography, and project examples
Reviews shown on this site are real reviews left by real customers, reproduced as they were written. They describe those customers’ own experiences and are not a promise of what your project will be like.
Project descriptions, timelines, and examples are illustrative. Every property is different, and the schedule and outcome of your project depend on its own scope, conditions, permitting authority, and selections.
Disclaimer — the website is provided as is
We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or up to date at the moment you read it.
Nothing on this site is professional advice for your specific property. Do not make a construction, permitting, structural, or financial decision on the strength of a web page. Ask us about your actual project and we will give you a real answer for it.
For the avoidance of doubt, the one-year workmanship warranty we provide applies to work we have carried out under a signed contract. It is a term of that contract, not of this website, and nothing in this section limits it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, D'GIL Renovation House LLC and its owners, employees, and subcontractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website — including lost profits, lost data, or costs incurred in reliance on information published here.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from this website is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100). This clause limits our liability for the website only. It does not limit, and is not intended to limit, our obligations under any construction contract you have signed with us, nor any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify D'GIL Renovation House LLC against any claim, loss, or reasonable legal cost arising from your misuse of this website, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of anyone else through your use of the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of this website or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes, and the revised terms apply from the moment they are posted. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Your signed project contract is never altered by a change to this page.
