Built for substantial projects

GIL Renovation Services is a Certified Building Contractor — Florida licence CBC1269967 — and that licence class is what shapes the list below. We take on structural work: additions, ground-up construction, accessory dwelling units, and renovations that rework a whole house rather than freshening one corner of it.

We have been building in Northeast Florida since 2017 and complete 30 to 40 residential and commercial projects a year. On every one of them we pull the permits, source and deliver the materials, and keep one person reachable by phone from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Everything here is delivered across Jacksonville and Duval, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. We are based in Orange Park, which keeps most of the region inside a comfortable drive.

And what we do not do

We do not offer roofing, and we do not do handyman work. Saying so plainly is more useful than taking the call and disappointing you later — there are companies who do both of those things properly, and we are not one of them.

We are also candid that we are set up for substantial projects. Small jobs are entirely legitimate work and someone should absolutely do them; our crews, our schedule, and our permitting process are simply built around larger ones. If your project is not a fit, we would rather tell you at the first phone call than after you have waited a week for a proposal.

The same seven steps, whichever service you need

A deck and a second storey differ enormously in scope and not at all in how they are run. You always know which step you are on.

  1. 1

    You get in touch

The form and the phone reach the same place, and someone actually picks up. Whichever service you are asking about, the first step is identical.

  2. 2

We call you back for details

A team member gathers the specifics before anyone drives out, so the consultation is spent on your project rather than on basics.

  3. 3

    On-site consultation

We come to you, take measurements, and work through the full scope in person. Free, and with no obligation to go any further.

  4. 4

    Written proposal within 48 hours

A comprehensive written proposal — scope and price laid out in full — within two days of the consultation, whether it is a deck or a second storey.

  5. 5

    Accept and schedule

An accepted proposal goes on the schedule with a real date. We pull the permits and our licensed plumbing and electrical subcontractors pull theirs under our master permit.

  6. 6

    50% deposit, 50% on completion

Half when the project is scheduled, half when the work is finished. No progress-payment surprises in between.

  7. 7

    Delivered, then warrantied

We finish on or ahead of the schedule we gave you, walk the project with you, and hand over your one-year workmanship warranty at completion.
